Here’s an excerpt of an email sent out by the Democratic Party of Oregon that showed up in my inbox today:

The DPO is filming a video this month and we need your help…Are you a firefighter, nurse, teacher, farmer, student, or religious leader?…If you are interested and available to participate in filming during the weekend of July 26-27 in Portland, please contact…”

Geez, they might as well have just come right out and said: “We’re looking for a few good clichés and stereotypes to exploit. Interested?” (Adding, of course, “Tattooed leftist freaks need not apply.”)
